Jessica Ann Hounshell

Jessica Ann Hounshell, age 54, loving wife of Thomas Hounshell, passed to Heaven Saturday, April 26, 2025 at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, KY.

Jessica was born January 31, 1971 in Michigan, a daughter to Clara Lawson and the late Daryl Deaton. Jessica worked in non-profit administration for the past 20 years; 13 years as Regional Coordinator at Experience Works, and 7 years as a biller/medical coder for Juniper Health. Jessica was the first female president of the Beattyville Kiwanis Club. She also acted as secretary, and was the current treasurer.

Along with her husband; Thomas Hounshell, she is survived by her mother; Clara Lawson, 1 sister; Jenni (Rodney) Veaughn, 1 brother; Greg (Amanda) Deaton, 2 sons; Carter & Jordan Hounshell, 1 daughter; Leandra Shuler, mother-in-law; Sally Hounshell, 6 grandchildren, and a host of other family & friends.

Family will receive guests Wednesday, April 30, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Booneville Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will begin at 7:00 pm with Pastor Marvin Hobbs officiating.
